Sunday, February 8, 2009 @ Mutual Recognition Agreemnent between CPA Australia and CIMA
Good news for CPA Australia holders!!! Now you can get CIMA designation with new MRA that has just been announced in Jan 2009. This is a good opportunity especially to UiTM students to consider taking CPA Program as it enables the students to gain reciprocal membership.

Below is the excerpt i've taken from CIMA website.

"CPA Australia and CIMA have a mutual recognition agreement.

The agreement gives CIMA members preferred access to membership in CPA Australia and members of CPA Australia preferred access to CIMA membership.

Preferred access to membership helps organisations improve their market competitiveness and expand career opportunities for management accountants.

The agreement details how members of CPA Australia and CIMA can gain reciprocal membership.

CPA Australia members who qualify for membership in CIMA will have full rights to use the CIMA designation in the UK. CIMA members who qualify for membership in CPA Australia will have full rights to use the CPA designation in Australia.

CPA Australia members will be eligible for associate membership in CIMA and enjoy the same benefits as current CIMA members provided they meet the accreditation and practical experience requirements that have been established by CIMA."

Friday, January 2, 2009 @ Barbeque@NYE
I had not been informed that there would be a barbeque for dinner on new year’s eve. So It’s a quite surprise when i saw a set of barbeque grill outside the house after i reached home from work. It was a good treat as we had a good food to enjoy and a family gathering to cherish. A good 2009 kick start.

@ Random
What is it to write? It has been a long time...well first off i’ve enrolled an acoustic guitar lesson at Guitar Collection, Sunway Pyramid. Yes, finally. That’s going to be a challenge. But this also things that i’ve been wanted to do. Let it be a new KPI for me for upcoming 2009. Perhaps a stage performance at the end of year 2020 hahah.

Yes, i’ve completed another two more papers of CPA program. Another two more to go, wuhuu!!. I’ve decided to register International Business for elective paper on upcoming semester. Another paper is Business Strategy and Leadership which is compulsory and final. A pain in the butt in paying the fees. But hey, there’s nothing more good than investing in education. My target is almost there, pursuing Masters degree in Australia. I’ve been mulling over enrolling Master in Commerce at Macquarie University, Sydney. Lots of exemption given to CPA holders. Still a wishful thinking working over there (Big 4??)

Working in SC has always been an experience. Here in my department, the wealth of information is really killing me. Since my work nature involves analysis, I’ve to keep up to date on the corporate development and read corporate news everyday.

Most of my buddies have gotten married. Last week i attended my college buddies, Zahir and Aeida reception in JB. Both were looking great. I headed down south with Irwan, reaching there a mere 2.5 hours at noon, thanks to 1.8 Vtec Civic. As always, a small gathering-like event would take place, as Mike, Firdaus, Fuad, and Aji were revisited. It was always fun having this kind of hangout, as Mike, the true JBngites had us a short trip to JB town. We stopped at Danga Bay, looking into the sunset and had a good dinner.

Another picture of good memory to remember....

31.12.08
Another year had passed and the beginning of New Year will embark on. Lots of things happened in 2008. I am not going to go through all of the memories, let it bygone. Let just it be part of life experience to explore with. It is a human nature to be curious, experiment, and desire the bittersweet of life.

Well at least 2009 are still a challenge ahead.

I’ve decided to put songs that I will fool around in this blog, using guitar instrument. That’s something different to perk up this blog, in any case from my viewpoint.

And I will this time keep updating the blog for at least ONCE A DAY.

That’s going to be my new resolution. No holds barred.

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ Kumpulan rock
Wahaha i never thought of forming a band. Tapi ia menjadi kenyataan apabila game rockband merialisasikan impian ku hahaha. Actually have been looking to gather friends forming a band for rockband game. Well it was finally materialized as our group consists of the following:

Ariza=Vocalist
Azrul=Guitarist
Adib=Bassist
Edzree=Drummer

My first foray singing was an utter shocking as i scored 100%!! Wuuhuu. I sang Wonderwall by Oasis. But most of the songs were tough as i could not familiarize it. From now on i have to listen to the songs included in the game. I have problem singing high pitch music, especially pure hard rock one. But no worries as Adib could always be a back up singer..Now i have to practise singing like crazy..rock on!!!

Warming up..
